First, let me say that I am sorry that I haven't written you guys in a long while.
I have been very busy and also have a bit of bad news. My doctor said I will probably need ANOTHER BACK SURGERY!!! They have found another bone chip lodged on my nerve and it is causing severe pain.
BUT..... let that go.... I'm not focusing on it. I am keeping positive thoughts.
I have realized that I have been doing something very different from my norm the last couple of months. I have stopped doing something that I have always prided myself in. Something that could bring down anyone in the world.
I HAD STOPPED BELIEVING IN MYSELF!!!
You noticed I put that in past tense. I am always the person trying to pick people up. Give them a smile. Make them laugh. Pat them on the back and say GOOD JOB MAN!!
Somehow, somewhere I got into this :funk: and life just started to pass me by. I can blame it on my pain... ( that would be easy as I am in a TON of pain constantly right now)
I could blame it on others for the things that has not gone right lately in my work life and entertainment life, but that would just be passing the buck. That's not how I was made.
It's been said that great leaders do not want good followers. They want people they can help BRING UP to LEAD with them. They want to motivate, inspire and educate others to lead also.
That's why I am writing this blog my friends.
IT'S TIME TO GET BACK ON TRACK!!
I laid on my bed today going through HUNDREDS of emails Tonya and I have received over the last year and I found many of them had the same "theme"
The theme was.. THANKS CHUCK ---- you INSPIRE ME TO DO MY BEST!!!
OH!! My friends, you should know the joy your heart feels when you read that. It just makes you warm all over to feel that you have helped someone or that you have inspired them.
My motto has always been "NEVER QUIT LIVING YOUR DREAM!"
My friends, I want to reaffirm that to you all with this blog.
I have been very lucky, blessed and fortunate to be able to meet all of you and the other 45 MILLION people that has visited my website. I would not change this ride I am on for anything in the world.
Some people don't "get" me. They hear things I say, twist them to sound negative and then try to use them against me.
Those days are over. I look in the mirror and like what I see. I get off of my knees and crawl into bed feeling good about myself again.
Thanks for letting me rant....It's actually good medicine for me right now. I'm NOT going to let this surgery (and other things) bring me down.
Life has a funny way of coming full circle.
Mine has just hit another high point.
